ETA: ** I wish, wish, wish I could give everyone who posted on here a book - seriously - :( My daughter is sick today, so I am going to print the comments out and have her help me draw a name. I'll post tonight or tomorrow a.m. with the winner! :) Thank you to everyone who left a comment... this is so exciting for me!**
For some reason, when I ordered books the other day I thought I needed an extra or two... I didn't. At least they aren't spoken for. So, I've got one sitting here, and I can't think of anything better to do with it than to give it away... soooo...
If you comment to this post on or before next Wednesday, May (gosh, what is the date?) May... 16th. Is it the 16th already? Well, not yet, but on Wednesday it will be...
So, leave me a comment and maybe just tell me if your faith is a big part of your life or hardly a part at all... Then, Tuesday night I'll draw a name and send out a book! :) Yay! I was really touched this morning when I read Beth Williams' blog. She is the new Executive Editor at Memory Makers, and working with her has already been just amazing. She really made my day this morning. :)
And I'll leave you with one of my favorite layouts from the book. It feels like so long ago that I did these layouts. This one is a photo Adam took of me without me knowing it (he also took several of my rear end, but you better believe those were all quickly deleted before anyone else could see them.) :) So, I enlarged the photo and pretty much made it the background of the page.
I think so often we have such high expectations of people in ministry - and being in ministry, it's something I think about a lot... because I have so many imperfections... so many things I need to work on and work out. So, that's what this layout is about. :)
So anyway... leave me a comment! I'm drawing on Wednesday!!
:)

Hi. Faith is really not a big part of my life, but I would like for it to be. I really enjoy reading your blog and reading about your faith!

LOVE that layout, Courtney!
FAITH is a huge part of my life. My dh is a pastor, so I guess you'd say I fall into the same category as you with the title, "Pastor's wife".
{Oh, and I LOVE the name Lucy!}
[And I think it is "Finagle" with an "i". LOL!]
Have a great day!

I would love to get that book!
Faith is something constantly in change for me! I am very spiritual and am learning to find what works for me!

Faith is to the very being of who I am. I realize today, that I don't need someone to tell me things are going to be alright. I just KNOW they are because each breathe I take puts me one step closer to my God. Truely without Him I would be NOTHING!

your book sounds really interesting!

Cool layout! Just heard about your book from Heather Preckel's blog. My faith is a big part of my life - but not big enough. I've been struggling to pray like I should. I've been doing OK with my devotional but I need to push in. But God is just as much a part of me as my husband is and no matter where I am in my walk that will never change. I will never go back. Anyway, can't wait to see your book. Congrats!

hi courtney ~ i would love to have one of your books!!! in terms of faith...i have my own quiet faith. growing up, i went to an LDS church, an Alliance, a Pentecostal, Anglican... 'in the shadow of a seeker' will be the title of my memoir one day!! my mother was searching, and we all went along with her. having seen so much, i have a hard time taking root these days. but i do believe... :)

Hi Courtney! My faith is a big part of my life, although I do want it to be even bigger...I just struggle with motivating myself each day and maintaining that relationship with God that I truly do need.

Hi Courtney,
It would be a blessing if I was picked to receive your book. My family lost everything in Hurricane Kartina, without Faith we would not be here today. Hope and Faith was all that we had after the hurricane and that is what keeps us going.
Love,
Paula

faith is a big part of our life...it has really helped us through the last year as our oldest son's medical condition required 2 surgeries and an emergency procedure which left him in critical condition for a few days. I am so excited about your book cause I really want our faith to be an important part of our family's albums and I cant wait to be inspired by your book :)

Hi Courtney :-) Living by faith is an every day experience. I can't imagine the two being seperated. I'm going on a short term missions trip next month to Ukraine. A team of 6 of us will be ministering in an orphange of 80 kids ranging from toddlerhood to 16-18. Would appreciate all the prayers that we can get!

HI Courtney, this is Amanda, your Two Peas EDD twin. ;)
Faith is a huge part of our lives and I would LOVE to check out your book. I honestly don't worry about much because I know that the plans He has for me are plans to prosper me and not to harm me... speaking of ministry, my hubby is interviewing for a pastoral position at our church next week. :)
I hope your morning sickness passes soon! And don't feel bad at all about gaining 2 or 3 pounds, I have already gained 7!! WOW!

I am just finding my faith really for the first time really. I have always prayed and talked to god but never tried to walk with god. Ive been attending a wonderful church since my mother was put in rehab for her addictions. I felt lost and wanted to try another place for answers and felt God was the only option. Now mom is attending church with us each week and my family looks forward to each service. Ive have also decided to seek help for myself thru a outreach service the church offer for Co-dendpency and letting go of the anger my mothers yrs of addiction caused.
I would love your book because although I scrapbook alot I have no ideas how to do it on my new found faith in the Lord.

I am very intrigued by the subject of your new book - all the best in its marketing! In this day and age - with so much anti-Christian sentiment around us - it's great to see people like you living their faith and sharing it through the greatest hobby in the world - scrapbooking!! I am looking forward to seeing the ideas presented between the covers - and in this way learning how to share our family's faith in our layouts as well!
All the best,
Hetty

Faithbooking is such an important tool for remembering how God has His hands in our lives everyday. I've been planning on scrapping my faith and characteristics that I want my children to remember, so the timing of your book is just perfect! I look forward to the ideas and inspiration I'll find inside!
