I keep telling you how great my kids are when we take them to the new house. I ramble on and on about how this stretches their creativity, this "unplugged time." Days spent doing nothing but running around catching bugs, playing barefoot and spending SO much time together...
It amazes me how lucky I am as a mom to see them so happy all the time...
I mean, they are truly, always so well behaved...
...and all of my days are without tantrum or incident. My youngest never throws himself on the floor with a thud, never screams and kicks because I won't let him use the power saw.
Nobody spends the afternoon pouting or complaining.
And the best part? They listen to every little word I say. I mean, they actually obey. All. the. time.
It's like Stepford up in here.
And I never have to whip out the guilt trip of a punishment because they are such angelic creatures.
I know. You're wondering how I do it. I have no answers. I guess I'm just living my dream or something...
Or is it living in a dream?
It's such a fine line.
