Ever since I finished Made to Crave, I've been wanting a new book to usher in my morning. Typically, I only have about twenty minutes before I start work, but sometimes that's all it takes to focus my day.
I was so excited when I found this book:
I have to admit, my desire to read non-fiction has waned some since I started reading so much for a living, but there's something about this book that I cannot help but love.
I think it's the author.
She pretty much looks like someone I want to be friends with.
And the more I read, the more I'm sure that's the case.
Kathi's no-nonsense approach to getting your head screwed on straight makes me laugh, but it also speaks to me right where I'm at. Kathi weaves biblical truths right in the middle of realistic situations and offers practical ways to, as the title says, "live the life you've always wanted."
The best part is...the suggestions in this book are doable. I get the distinct impression the author understands what it's like to be so busy you can't keep your head from spinning--and I love when someone offers to help me put an end to that!
So far, I'm loving this book. It's helping me to define my goals and dreams and then come up with a realistic plan to achieve them. If I were in the business of giving stars out, I'd surely give this one four...I highly recommend this book for anyone who's looking to make your passion a reality.
