There's a very good chance this post will be a smidge incoherent. I may not be my usual snippy self. Snippy? I'm on a bit of medication for my back and while I'm not a drinker, I imagine this is what people feel like after they've consumed a LOT of wine. Like two full bottles.
The funny thing is, the prescription is for 2-3 of these pills per DAY. WHAT? I would be rendered DEAD if I took that many. I'm picturing Adam walking in from work to find me sloshed out with half of my body draped over the couch and the other half spilled in a puddle on the floor.
Geesh.
Anyway. I just had to put that disclaimer in there. Today I have another big giveaway...this one is for the tired Mommy on your list. (Which very well might be YOU and that's fine. I'm not opposed to you claiming this prize for your pretty little self.) And dudes, you can enter and your Christmas shopping for your wife will be all done! And she'll love you. :)
Dudes? (Do any dudes read this blog? My sources say NO.)
But I digress...remember to check out these shops for your Christmas shopping because they are STUNNING.
Ok. To kick things off, let me introduce you to my friend Mindy Lacefiled.
Isn't she adorable? I'd like her to give me style lessons.
Mindy is one of the contributors for my new papercrafting book because the stuff she does with paper is FABULOUS. Check it out:
I just LOVE her style. It's sooo unique. And I feel SO lucky to have this print right here:
...to give away to a tired mommy who needs a smile. That's Mr. Rogers there. Remember him? I loved him and his cardigan. And his Keds. And those creepy puppets.
Mindy's work has been purchased by Ginnifer Goodwin (girl has good taste) and I think this print will make you smile every time you see it...even if it's been a really.hard.day.
Next in this package is an adorable key chain from my friend Jennifer Stewart. Jen is a talented papercrafter with a beautiful, vintage style and her etsy shop is proof.
She's got all kinds of goodies in there. For this giveaway, a key chain all moms can use... and believe me, the car seems to be the place where I am in most need of this reminder:
Cute, right? I love it. I have a blue one and it's one of my favorites!
Next up, (Gosh this is such a jam-packed giveaway!)
I have an assortment of bows from Madi Mo's Bows:
The owner of Madi Mo's, Maureen, is a friend of mine from college, and her bows are SO cute. And not just for babies either:
Cute, right? What great stocking stuffers! Or buy several and you end up with a nice gift for a new mom or a girly-girl. Today I'm adding a few bows to this giveaway and yes, they are adorable!
Now, every mom loves taking care of her babies, but she also needs a little something for herself. And that's where the next part of this giveaway comes in:
A $25 gift certificate to one of my favorite Jewelry shops, The Rusted Chain.
These hand-stamped necklaces are my favorite, but Beki has all kinds of GREAT stuff in her shop. I can tell you from experience she is wonderful to work with, and her jewelry is gorgeous. Can you think of a better way to let someone know you care? If you're looking for unique gifts this year, visit The Rusted Chain. You'll fall in love. :)
Finally, one last addition to make your drive (or your wait in the carpool line) a little more entertaining. I'm giving away three CDs recorded by none other than my stunner of a husband:
All three of these memory verse CDs are available on iTunes (Just search under Faith Kids Music) to hear samples and they make GREAT stocking stuffers or gifts for any elementary age kids (and younger). I know most of you don't know my husband, but he's got a way with catchy kids' music that's not annoying for parents. It's a gift.
So, let's recap:
Here's what you can win:
Same as yesterday...you can get extra entries if you TWEET, Facebook or blog about this giveaway! All winners will be chosen when the giveaway week concludes so you can still enter yesterday's giveaway in case you missed it!
Yep. It's Christmastime in the city. And I LOVE giving handmade!
I hope you'll help support artists by spreading the word about these incredible shops this season!
Happy Wednesday!
