Every once in awhile my work life and writing life collide. These are some of my happiest days because talking up scrapbooking products I LOVE to use is one of my favorite things in all the world!
This week, I'm still celebrating the launch of my second novel A Sweethaven Homecoming...
Both books are available right over HERE.
And I'm thrilled to be the one sharing an inspiration page today. (Scroll down for more inspiration...and start thinking now about how YOU can create your own Sweethaven-inspired layout...the challenge officially starts Wednesday!)
But I'm also totally jazzed that the new Webster's Pages collections start shipping this week!
So...I've created a Sweethaven-inspired layout using Once Upon a Halloween. Head on work/writing collision, see? To quote Jessica Simpson, "I'm all about a two-fer." (Did anyone else watch Fashion Star?)
And as a side note, what does that say about me if I'm quoting Jessica Simpson?
Let me start by showing you my layout:
If you've read either of my novels, then you know the flashing back takes you straight to the 80s, so yes, I'd like to add "The Eighties" as another potential theme for the Sweethaven Scrapbooking Challenge. Might as well bring 'da funk, no?
I used the digital versions of Once Upon a Halloween to create my layout, documenting Sophia's turn as an 80's inspired punk rocker, a Halloween costume we accidentally stumbled upon when we realized we didn't want to spend $50 on a costume that made her look like a scantily clad mermaid or zombie fairy princess with a half eaten face.
Seriously, there are NO costumes for 10-year-old girls.
I digress. Look at this collection:
Last year was the first year we actually went trick-or-treating, so I really wanted to remember it, and this collection made me SO happy from the second I saw it.
I LOVE the whole idea of scrapbooking my memories. I wrote a whole article about it...and you know what? I meant every word. You can click HERE to read it.
But now for the important stuff...
How about SEVEN giveaways?
Help us celebrate Shipping Week! The Webster's designers are all sharing a little bit on their blogs about various parts of the two lines that start shipping TODAY...and to celebrate, we're hiding SEVEN (that's a lot!) giveaways throughout the sixteen blog hop blogs.
But we're not telling you which blogs have the giveaways...
So, if you happen to leave a comment on one of the mystery blogs, you'll be entered to win! My advice would be to comment on all of them and then cross your fingers because boy, oh, boy, the prizes are good!
Next up? Head straight over to Anabelle O'Malley's blog...she's got something special waiting for you but leave a comment before you go...just in case. :)
