This month, I've been trying to really focus on my readers...on sharing my appreciation...because frankly, I never really thought I'd have "readers."
But, when you write books...that IS the goal (I know you're marveling at the genius of that last sentence)...and while I may sound like a broken record, it's really true that I am beyond thankful to anyone and everyone who has read my books.
I spend a lot of time wondering "What can I do in return?" and "What do I have to offer?" and many times I come up empty. I mean, I don't know. I wish I could buy everyone a Starbucks and throw a big party.
Oooh, wouldn't that be fun?
But I don't want my blog to turn into a giveaway-only type of place...my goal is really to connect with people. Because ultimately, that's what I'm in this for. Writing for the sake of the reader.
That's my heart.
That said, I still have a few gifts to share... and since I'm slammed/swamped and covered in deadlines I thought this little gift would be the best for today.
Most of my Christmas stuff is still packed up in bins and boxes. I'm not one of those smart day-after-Thanksgiving-decorators. I wish I was. My neighborhood is outlined with twinkly lights and our end of the cul-de-sac is a dark & dreary place.
So, I'm doing what I can. Little bits. Baby steps.
And I've created this Free Christmas Printable for you. (Click the link below to download it for yourself!)
I printed one and tried it in my trusty Ikea frame and I'm hooked.
Super easy (and cheap!) decoration for the holidays.
How is your decorating coming along? Hopefully you'll be able to use this in a super clever way (or a super boring way like I've done. It still works.) :)
Just a little Thank You for visiting me in Sweethaven.
Merry Tuesday!
