As you may already know, I declared November my own personal Reader Appreciation Month, and I'm having a TON of fun with this. I'm convinced that I have the very best readers on the planet...and I'm hoping some of you will be able to come out for this:
The final book in the series. Bittersweet. I'll be signing books at Barnes & Noble and I would LOVE to see you there... I'll have a special gift for the first 30 people...and I'm working on a giveaway too!
But today...I wanted to talk to you about something else entirely...
I can't remember when it was, but at some point and in some house, Adam told me he preferred to decorate with our own photographs.
It kind of hit me like a revelation, which is weird, because I'm a scrapbooker, and I'm in the business of taking lots and lots of pictures...I like to put our family on display. Even when I end up with this:
What can I say? The kid has his own way of doing things.
It's important to me to capture moments. I've noticed that my kids will talk about "that one time when I was a baby..." and they only know the stories because they've seen the photos. Great memory joggers, those images.
There's no better way to make a house yours than to fill it with your own photos!
Combine this love of photography with my love of artwork and you've got a person who oohs and ahhs over the very idea of a canvas with my family's faces on it.
Enter Printcopia.
Today, I am really happy to offer a very fun giveaway from this awesome company... an 11x14 Canvas Print of your very own!
Part of the fun of it all is choosing the image, and my advice is to choose one that evokes an emotion. Posed, beautiful photos are GREAT but I'd so much rather have something meaningful on my wall.
Something like this, maybe:

Or this:

Or maybe this...which was a really candid moment during our photoshoot.

Because those images mean so much more to me than something stuffy and canned ever could. They're memories...moments...and that is what I want to surround myself with.
Of course, you could be extra generous and give the print away as a Christmas present? (I wouldn't, but maybe you're more generous than I am?)
So. How do you win?
Just leave me a comment and you'll be entered!
FIVE extra chances to win:
1. Facebook, blog, tweet or pin this giveaway for FOUR extra chances to win! (Then, come back and leave a comment for each one you do!)
2. A bonus entry if you "Like" my author page on Facebook.
One very lucky winner will receive a beautiful canvas print from Printcopia.
Good Luck, Lovelies!
