When I'm not writing novels (and sometimes even when I am...) I'm hanging out with some of the most amazing kids I've ever met.
They're talented, they're funny and most importantly, they're kind.
When I was deciding who to dedicate my book to, a decision I take very seriously, I kept thinking of these kids...of how I want them to pursue their highest calling. To prayerfully consider their biggest dreams and to never let fear stand in their way.
It's a lesson I've had to learn, and one that also made its way in to Paper Hearts.
These kids are more than just kids to me. They're a huge part of our purpose. I feel an incredible responsibility to them--to maybe show them how big and amazing God is just by living my own life.
So, I decided to dedicate this dream-come-true to them...
Everything God has called us to do has come with an element of risk. It's never easy, but it's always worth it, and I am so thankful that what he's calling us to do with our business involves such an amazing group of families.
I mean, just look:
Aren't we the luckiest?
